Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is withdrawing its Notice of Intent to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement for the Port of Iberia, Louisiana navigation feasibility study. Because study conditions have changed, USACE determined that an Environmental Assessment is the appropriate level of environmental documentation. The NOI, originally published October 31, 2002, is withdrawn effective November 2, 2026. USACE states that wetland impacts will be fully mitigated and that it will provide public notice when the Environmental Assessment and draft Finding of No Significant Impact are available.
