The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation is seeking public comment on Hilcorp Alaska, LLC’s Cook Inlet oil discharge plan renewal application; this is a regulatory notice, not a procurement opportunity. - Government buyer/reviewing agency: Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC). - Applicant/operator: Hilcorp Alaska, LLC. - Operations covered: Crude oil production, processing, storage, wells and drilling, and pipelines and piping. - Offshore platforms: Anna, Baker, Bruce, Dolly Varden, Granite Point, Grayling, King Salmon, Monopod, Platform A, Platform C, Spurr, and Steelhead. - Onshore facilities: Beaver Creek, Granite Point Tank Farm (also listed as “Granite Pont Tank Farm”), Swanson River Field, and Trading Bay Production Facility. - Notable requirements and risks: The plan must provide adequate prevention and response resources for a realistic maximum discharge. A spill could affect state lands or waters; Beaver Creek and Swanson River Field are within the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge. - Public review: The application package is available for review. DEC may hold a public hearing if it determines there is good cause. - Procurement items and value: No products, services, quantities, part numbers, or contract value are specified.
