Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 1 (NCO 1), hereby announces the award of Contract No. 36C24127P0016 to DBI Waste Systems Inc., located at 377 3rd Street, Everett, MA 02149-4716, for Solid Waste Management and Recycling Services in support of the VA Boston Healthcare System.

This contract is a bridge contract while a Base plus 4 option years is pursued.

The contract was awarded on October 1, 2026, as a firm-fixed-price, sole-source acquisition in the total amount of $706,430.72.

The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, supervision, labor, equipment, materials, transportation, collection, recycling, and disposal services required for comprehensive solid waste management and recycling operations at the VA Boston Healthcare System's Brockton, Jamaica Plain, and West Roxbury campuses.

Services include regular solid waste collection and disposal; single-stream recycling; construction and miscellaneous debris recycling; yard waste recycling; wood and metal recycling; and solid fill removal. The contractor is also responsible for providing and maintaining the necessary dumpsters, compactors, and associated equipment, as well as waste tracking, reporting, and recycling program support in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

The period of performance is October 1, 2026, through June 1, 2027.
