The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking capable contractors to complete FY2027 drydock repairs for USCGC WILLIAM CHADWICK (WPC-1150). - Government buyer - U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center, Norfolk office. - The cutter is homeported in Boston; work is to be performed at the contractor’s facility, with no geographic restriction stated. - Opportunity status - Sources-sought market research only; this is not a solicitation for proposals or quotations. - No OEMs, vendors, or manufacturers are named in the notice. - Requested service - Drydock repairs and related support, covering 25 work items: hull plating inspection; tank and void inspection and preservation; watertight-closure assessment; louver and damper inspection and repair; propulsion-shafting inspection and repair; ASW/firemain component renewal or overhaul; thermographic inspection of electrical distribution at 450 VAC and below; bilge surface and piping cleaning, inspection, and repair; machinery ventilation and HVAC duct cleaning; rudder, stabilizing-fin, and bow-thruster inspection and repair; stern launch door inspection and preservation; sewage and grey-water cleaning and inspection; preservation of freeboard, superstructure, mast, weatherdecks, underwater body, and stern-tube interiors; ICCP and anti-fouling system inspection and maintenance; drydocking; temporary cutter services; and sea-trial support. - Performance period - Anticipated duration is 119 calendar days during FY2027; timing and duration may change.
