Description
Applications are sought from eligible Massachusetts municipalities, Tribal Governments, and political subdivisions applying on behalf of municipalities to complete the two-year MVP Planning 2.0 process. The grant supports communities in revisiting climate resilience priorities with a focus on equity and translating those priorities into action through project development support and implementation. The process includes community team convening, training, reassessment of priorities and social vulnerability, and support for developing and implementing a resilience project. Funding is anticipated at $50,000 for Steps 1–8 and 10, plus $50,000 per community for Step 9; the application deadline is December 11, 2026.
