DLA Maritime – Puget Sound is seeking 48 water-filled traffic barriers for Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. - Government buyer: Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), DLA Maritime, Puget Sound Contracting Division (DLA-PME). - Product: 48 PLASTICADE traffic barriers, manufacturer part number HYD-W-KIT; Grainger item 406MH9. - Required characteristics: white, plain with no reflective sheeting, free-standing MDPE construction, 81-gallon capacity, dimensions of 79 × 17.5 × 32 inches, 67 lb empty and 745 lb when filled, connector pins, and compliance with MUTCD standards. - Brand name or equal is permitted; equal products must include manufacturer specifications for technical evaluation. No services or ongoing performance period are specified. - The notice also identifies applicable NIST SP 800-171 assessment requirements, with an exemption for items identified as COTS.

ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION OF QUOTES IS AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SAM WEBSITE.

To be considered for award, if the contractor (awardee) is required to implement NIST SP 800-171, the contractor (awardee) shall have a current assessment as detailed in DFARS 252.204-7019 (I.E., not more than 3 years old unless a lesser time is specified in the solicitation)

Items deemed to be Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) are exempt from NIST SP 800-171 requirement.  Must identify and provide information to contracting officer on bid during solicitation period
