Fluke MET/TEAM and MET/CAL calibration system upgrade with server, laptops, licenses, and support

AFMETCAL is seeking a Fluke calibration-management system upgrade and related equipment for RSAF PMEL facilities in Saudi Arabia. - Government buyer and end user - Procuring organization: Air Force Materiel Command, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, through AFMETCAL in Heath, Ohio. - End user identified in the purchase description: Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) PMEL facilities. - OEM - Fluke Electronics Corp. is the named OEM; the notice identifies it as the only source found capable of meeting the requirement. - Requested products and quantities - 1 rackmount calibration management server, Fluke P/N 603624 baseline or OEM-certified equivalent. - 80 calibration field-workstation laptops; no part number specified. - 99 Fluke MET/TEAM client licenses, P/N MET/TEAM-LIC. - 15 Fluke MET/CAL team licenses, P/N MET/CAL-TL. - 1 Fluke MET/CAL / MET/TEAM core server software package, P/N 4220971. - 3 Fluke Gold MET/SUPPORT comprehensive agreements, P/N MET/SUPPORTGLD116, including annual priority support and procedure-library access. - Notable requirements - The server must meet the specified enterprise hardware baseline and support the required Windows Server environment. - Laptops must meet the stated performance, display, connectivity, operating system, and Saudi plug requirements. - The system must provide OEM compatibility, database backward compatibility, software support, hardware warranty, license documentation, and manuals. - The notice describes an intended sole-source award; quantities and detailed specifications are provided in the purchase description.

Description

AFMETCAL at Heath OH intends to solicit and award a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price contract under FAR Part 12 Procedures for the purchase of Fluke Met/Cal and Met/Team Software and Hardware System Upgrade and manuals from Fluke Electronics Corp. (Cage 4U744). Fluke Electronics Corp. was the only company identified as capable of meeting this requirement. The Government envisions a Firm Fixed Price contract. The requirement is in accordance with the Purchase Description which is available for download at this site.

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS.  No solicitation package will be issued. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by AFMETCAL. Interested sources must respond in writing with clear and convincing evidence to support their ability to provide the required items and services within fifteen (15) days of this publication.
