Williamson County is seeking refurbishment of the elevator at the Historical Courthouse to improve reliability and performance and replace aged components. The work includes upgrading firefighters’ operation to meet current life-safety requirements, modernizing elevator car and corridor buttons and fixtures for ADA compliance, and upgrading car and hoistway door equipment. Retained equipment will be reconditioned, and building conditions will be upgraded to meet applicable national and city elevator-safety and building codes.
