Miami-Dade County’s Aviation Department is hosting an in-person outreach and procurement-training meeting for small businesses. - Who should attend: Small businesses, including Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Small Business Enterprise (SBE) firms. - What to expect: Information on upcoming County projects, a six-month capital-project forecast, and future requests for proposals. - Training: Live instruction on the County’s INFORMS procurement system and related websites, including how to find opportunities and access solicitation documents, followed by questions and answers. - Additional topics and resources: Bonding and financial assistance, DBE/SBE certification, and representatives from MDAD, the Strategic Procurement Department, Transit and Public Works, and other local agencies and resources. - Action required: RSVP is required. - Procurement status: This is a networking and training event, not a solicitation for products or services. Description

This in-person community outreach meeting is intended to inform small businesses about upcoming projects within the Miami-Dade Aviation Department and other county departments using Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Small Business Enterprise (SBE) firms. Panelists will include representatives from County departments and other local agencies and resources. The meeting will feature live INFORMS training on finding business opportunities and accessing solicitation documents, followed by time for questions and answers. RSVP is required, and the meeting will be held at the 5A Building, second floor, 4200 NW 36 Street, Miami, Florida.
