Description

Alberta Forestry and Parks, Parks South is seeking vegetation management services in and around the Elkwater townsite in Cypress Hills Provincial Park. Work includes vegetation management on vacant public land adjacent to private structures, along the south-end firebreak/sprinkler trail, three Fire Lane sections, and the main entrance to town, following FireSmart Canada guidelines. The work is intended to reduce wildfire risk, improve emergency access and egress, and enhance public safety, with completed sites reflecting cleanliness, safety, and ecological integrity. The delivery period is November 1, 2026 through March 31, 2027, and attendance at the November 12, 2026 information session is mandatory.
