Accredited agencies for Alberta safety codes services across multiple disciplines and regions

The Safety Codes Council, through the Alberta Safety Codes Authority (ASCA), is seeking accredited agencies to deliver safety codes services in unaccredited areas of Alberta. - Government buyer: Safety Codes Council, through the Alberta Safety Codes Authority (ASCA). - Requested services: Permit issuance and administration, compliance monitoring, inspections, and related safety codes work for: - Building - Electrical - Gas - Plumbing - Private sewage disposal systems - Part 4 fire storage tank systems - Coverage: Agencies may propose for one or more service regions and must be prepared to serve applicable unaccredited municipalities in the regions selected. - Requirements: Proponents must meet applicable accreditation and certification requirements and demonstrate insurance, financial security, operational capacity, geographic coverage, staffing, technology, and service-delivery capabilities. - Agreements and workload: ASCA may establish non-exclusive agreements with multiple successful proponents. No minimum work volume, number of permits or assignments, exclusivity, or contract value is guaranteed. - OEMs and vendors: No OEMs, vendors, or specific products are named.

The Safety Codes Council, through the Alberta Safety Codes Authority (ASCA), is seeking proposals from qualified accredited agencies to provide safety codes services in unaccredited areas of Alberta. Services include permit issuance and administration, compliance monitoring, inspections, and related services in the identified disciplines. Proponents may propose for one or more service regions and must be prepared to serve applicable unaccredited municipalities in selected regions. ASCA intends to establish non-exclusive agreements with multiple successful proponents; no minimum value, work volume, permits, assignments, or exclusivity is guaranteed.
