Escambia County is seeking a lump-sum quote to remove and dispose of one derelict vessel from Mackey Cove. - Government buyer: Escambia County, Florida, through the Marine Resources Division (MRD), Natural Resources Department; the insurance attachment identifies the Office of Purchasing. - Vessel / OEM: One 33-foot, white Southern Cross made by Islander Yachts, registration DO683481 (FWC Case No. FWC26ON0075177). Required coverage includes workers’ compensation, general liability, and auto liability; marine-related work may also require Protection & Indemnity, applicable Jones Act/Longshore coverage, and marine pollution liability. - Schedule: Begin within 7 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed and complete within 14 calendar days of its issuance. Weather extensions require a written request and MRD approval. - Other named company: No removal contractor or reseller is identified; Islander Yachts is the only named OEM.
