Description

Nassau County Department of Public Works is seeking proposals for design services for installation of fiber-optic cable, communications cabinets, incident-management cameras, and Wi-Fi readers connecting to the County’s existing communication infrastructure. The contract term is 18 months, with an option to renew for one additional year. The full RFP must be obtained through Nassau County’s procurement system; this notice is not the RFP, and proposals must be submitted as specified in the RFP by November 20, 2026, at 3:00 PM EST. The selected firm must provide proof of general and professional liability insurance of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence, and proposers must make good-faith efforts toward stated MWBE and SDVOB goals.
