North Daviess Community Schools is seeking proposals for network upgrades and related services at its junior-senior high school and elementary school. - Buyer: North Daviess Community Schools (North Daviess Community School Corporation), Indiana; Office of Dr. Barry Stone, Director of Curriculum and Technology. - OEMs and vendors: Cisco Systems/Meraki (wireless access points and licenses), Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE)/Aruba (switches, power supplies, expansion modules, and transceivers), and Panduit (cabling components). Cisco Systems, Hewlett Packard, and equivalent products are also named in the Form 470; cabling entries list no preferred manufacturer. - Requested equipment: 20 Meraki MR57-HW access points and 20 LIC-ENT-5YR five-year licenses; HPE/Aruba switches, power supplies, expansion modules, and transceivers; approximately 12,000 feet of CAT6A plenum cable; and Panduit jacks, faceplates, and surface-mount boxes. See line items for part numbers and stated quantities. - Services: Equipment staging, installation, activation, configuration, VLAN assignment, firmware coordination, removal and replacement of existing equipment, cabling installation, connectivity testing, and installation documentation. The scope also includes Basic Maintenance of Internal Connections and potentially Managed Internal Broadband Services for existing equipment. - Notable requirements: Quantities are approximate and may change based on funding and district needs. Equipment must be new and factory-sealed, with original manufacturer warranties; used, refurbished, discontinued, gray-market, and other non-new equipment is not accepted. Bids should itemize manufacturers, part numbers, quantities, and pricing, and distinguish eligible and ineligible costs. Equivalent equipment may be proposed if it meets the requirements. The project depends on Category 2 E-Rate funding and excludes equipment from companies identified as national security risks under the cited FCC order. - Quantity reconciliation: The source attachments also list generic Form 470 categories for 7 and 10 switches, duplicate 12,000-foot cabling entries, and repeated related-component quantities. These appear to overlap with the detailed school equipment schedule; they are recorded separately below where needed and should not be assumed to increase the detailed quantities.
