Portageville School District is seeking a complete Category 2 network equipment package with installation and initial configuration. - Government buyer: Portageville School District, Portageville, Missouri, in New Madrid County. - Requested equipment: - 4 adjustable-depth, 42U, four-post, open-frame 19-inch server racks. - 42 24-port, 1 Gbps Ethernet switches with 10 Gbps SFP+ uplinks, maximum available PoE, and five-year licenses. - 28 1 Gbps SFP modules/transceivers and 24 10 Gbps SFP modules/transceivers. - 6 UPS/battery-backup units; preferred models are APC SMT1500RMJ2U or Tripp Lite SMART1500RM2U. - Named OEMs: Extreme Networks is preferred for switches and SFP modules/transceivers; APC and Tripp Lite are named for UPS units. - Functionally equivalent equipment may be proposed. Switches and SFPs must be compatible with the district’s existing Extreme Networks infrastructure, and alternatives require documented compatibility. - Installation and initial configuration are required; no network drops are requested. Bids must cover the complete hardware project, and refurbished equipment is not accepted.
