Roche immunostainer reagents, consumables, and support for NIH cancer research

The National Institutes of Health is seeking Roche reagents, consumables, and support for cancer research immunostaining equipment. - Government buyer: U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Cancer Institute (NCI), Center for Cancer Research (CCR), Laboratory of Pathology, Immunohistochemistry Section. - OEM: Roche; the equipment is also identified as Roche/Ventana immunostainers. Roche products are specified as proprietary and required for compatibility. - Products requested: Latest reagents, kits, and supplies compatible with Roche Ultra Plus and the Government’s current Roche/Ventana equipment. No individual product names, part numbers, or quantities are provided. - Services requested: Software upgrades and training for NCI technologists, plus access to contractor scientists and engineers for consultation on procedures and instrumentation. - Notable requirements: Reagents must have more than 12 months of shelf life remaining when shipped. Reagents require overnight shipment under appropriate conditions; deliveries are generally due within five days of each delivery or task order. Software upgrades are to be provided at no cost within one month of release, subject to the Government’s ability to defer them. Consultation is also at no cost. - Contract scope and value: Five-year firm-fixed-price IDIQ with a $20,000 minimum and a $1,500,000 ceiling; a possible extension of up to six months is included.
