The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center is seeking quotes for OEM-specific replacement parts for vessels and marine systems. - Buyer: U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC). - OEMs/manufacturers named: Rolls-Royce Solutions GmbH, Zahnradfabrik Friedrichshafen AG (ZF), DIN Deutsches Institut, and Meissner Filtration Products Inc. - Requested items: - 190 MTU 8V-396-TE94 crankcase breather gaskets, part number 5500180280. - 104 ZF2500 reduction-gear oil-filter gaskets, part number 0501303905. - 120 ZF reduction-gear sealing rings, part number 0634 801 098. - 400 duplex fuel-filter preformed packing pieces, part number 700294125000. - 240 MTU 8V396 diesel-engine sealing rings, part number 07603.047.97. - 70 Meissner reverse-osmosis filters, part number 33-0005. - Notable requirements: Offerors must provide an OEM letter confirming authorized-distributor status and that genuine OEM parts will be supplied. Items must meet the specified preservation, packaging, marking, and barcode requirements. - Procurement and delivery: The Coast Guard anticipates a sole-source purchase order but invites capable sources to submit information. Award is planned on a best-value basis considering technical compliance, delivery timeframe, and price. Delivery is FOB destination to the USCG SFLC receiving facility in Baltimore, Maryland.

Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the FAR Overhaul Part 12 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.

Solicitation 70ZU0127P21001B00 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ)

This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference.  Full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.

This acquisition is unrestricted.  It is anticipated that a non-competitive sole source purchase order shall be awarded as a result of this synopsis/solicitation.  Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to provide this item are invited to submit complete information discussing the same within two (2) calendar days from the day this notice posted.  The data must include sufficient details to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the proposal relative to the requirements. The information submitted must include a letter from the OEM verifying the offeror is an authorized distributor verifying the OEM will supply genuine OEM parts.

The U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order. No down payments or advanced payments will be made to the awarded vendor.

Award will be made on a Best Value Basis as result of this synopsis/solicitation.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency.  Best Value will be evaluated by who meets all technical requirements, who meets our required time frame and by price.
