Contract crushing of approximately 35,000 cubic yards of type 106 road gravel

The Rural Municipality of Parkdale No. 498 is seeking a contractor to crush road gravel for municipal use. - Government buyer: Rural Municipality of Parkdale No. 498, Office of the Administrator. - Requested service: Crush approximately 35,000 cubic yards of type 106 road gravel at the municipal pit at SW 16-51-19-W3. - Vendors and OEMs: No vendors or OEMs are named; no branded products or part numbers are specified. - Proposal details: Provide a price per cubic yard and identify the equipment and machinery to be used, including pricing. Submit proof of insurance and workers’ compensation coverage. - Work and quality requirements: Work is expected to begin as soon as possible in 2027 and continue through completion. Description

The Rural Municipality of Parkdale No. 498 invites expressions of interest for crushing approximately 35,000 yards of road gravel at the pit at SW 16-51-19-W3 for 2027. Submissions should include unit prices per cubic yard, equipment and machinery details with pricing, proof of insurance and workers compensation coverage, and confirmation that crushing will begin as soon as possible in 2027 and continue until completion by February 28, 2027. Gravel samples may be checked for quality and consistency, a Memo of Understanding must be signed before work begins, and payment will follow measurement and confirmation of the gravel piles by an outside source. Sealed submissions are due by 4:00 p.m. on November 10, 2026.
