Description
HUD is seeking OMB approval for a new information collection and inviting public comments under the Paperwork Reduction Act. Recipients of covered HUD grant awards would submit financial and supporting documentation for grant expenditures through the HUGS Recipient Portal, potentially including invoices, proof of payment, payroll or cost-allocation records, and subrecipient cost documentation. HUD would use the information to substantiate expenditures, support monitoring and oversight, assess financial and compliance risks, and identify transactions or patterns for further review. Submissions are to be made quarterly and will not change existing reimbursement or draw-down processes.
