Description

The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities invites the public to an open house about a proposed roundabout at the Nordale Road and Peede Road intersection in North Pole, Alaska. The project is in preliminary design in support of the environmental document, and proposed work includes a single-lane roundabout, ADA and drainage improvements, new signage and roadside hardware, utility improvements, vegetation clearing, and possible additional right-of-way acquisition. The open house is scheduled for November 18, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at North Star Volunteer Fire Department Station in North Pole. Comments are due by November 30, 2026; material sites are anticipated to be contractor-furnished.
