The Village Community Development Districts are seeking bids for Nedap long-range RFID vehicle-access equipment and related supply and support. - Buyer: Village Community Development Districts, Purchasing Department; the equipment is for Village Center, Sumter Landing, and Eastport Community Development Districts in The Villages, Florida. - OEM: Nedap. Pricing includes freight and handling. Provide at least a 36-month parts-and-workmanship warranty, repair or replacement coordination, and firmware and security updates at no additional cost. - Additional attachment excerpts: Two excerpts describe separate landscape-maintenance solicitations for four Village Center Executive Golf Course areas and seven Sumter Landing Executive Golf Course areas. They provide no quantities or detailed tasks and appear unrelated to the RFID equipment request.

Description

The Villages Community Development Districts is seeking bids to supply and deliver 254 Nedap uPASS Go long-range UHF vehicle access readers for the Village Center, Sumter Landing, and Eastport Community Development Districts. The procurement also includes separately priced reader accessories and a supplemental bid item for 85,000 compatible UHF exterior tags; additional quantities may be purchased by authorized purchase order without a guaranteed minimum or maximum. Installation, programming, and integration are excluded, and alternate products are not accepted. The initial agreement term is one year, with one additional one-year renewal period; bids are due November 20, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
