The chassis are furnished by the Commission and excluded from the vendor’s base bid. - Each upfit includes a service/mechanic-style body, front winch and bumper, running boards, storage and scene lighting, rear bumper and hitch, headache rack, emergency lights and controls, siren and speaker, shore-power/inverter system, battery disconnect, backup alarm and camera, and a removable 300-gallon firefighting skid unit. - The skid unit includes a tank, pump, gasoline engine, controls, plumbing, foam system, hose reel and bridge, drafting system, battery, and forklift runners. - Services requested: Retrieve the Commission-furnished chassis; provide, install, and test the apparatus and equipment; and deliver 14 completed, functional engines. Retrieval and delivery are included in the bid. - Notable requirement: Completed engines are due within 9 months of bid acceptance.
