Affordable Housing Planning Services for the City of Summit

The City of Summit is seeking qualified planning firms to support affordable housing planning during 2027. - Government buyer: City of Summit, Department of Community Services, Division of Land Use, Summit, Union County, New Jersey. - Requested service: Affordable housing planning services, commissioned and compensated on an as-needed, project-by-project basis. Selection does not guarantee work or payment. - Rate limits: Maximum hourly rates are $155 for a Partner, $145 for an Associate, $120 for a Project Planner, and $95 for a Draft Person. Respondents must propose the rate for Other/Meeting Request work. - Expenses: Eligible direct out-of-pocket expenses may be reimbursed at cost. Travel time, tolls, mileage, and other travel expenses are not reimbursable. - Qualifications: Firms should demonstrate professional, administrative, and financial capability, relevant experience, and provide at least two references. - OEMs and vendors: No product manufacturers, OEMs, or service vendors are named in the opportunity.

Description

The City of Summit is seeking qualifications from firms or organizations to provide affordable housing planning services to and for the City in 2027. Respondents must demonstrate professional, administrative, and financial capabilities and submit the requested qualification statement and supporting information. The City may approve work and compensation for projects on an as-needed basis; appointment does not guarantee work or compensation. Submissions are due November 19, 2026, by 4:00 p.m. prevailing time, and may be delivered by hand, delivery service, or U.S. Postal Service.
