The City of Surrey is seeking contractor support to mulch newly planted natural areas. - Government buyer: City of Surrey. - Requested service: Manually apply City-provided organic mulch or wood chips around plants in designated newly planted areas. - Contractor provides skilled labour, tools, and equipment. - Mulch may be collected by the contractor from the Surrey Operations Centre or delivered to the work site by the City. - Requirements: Work must meet British Columbia Landscape and Nursery Association Standards and City of Surrey Construction Standards. Scheduling is coordinated in advance through the City’s annual program. - OEMs and vendors: No commercial OEMs, vendors, or product brands are named. The City supplies the mulch.

Description

The City of Surrey invites quotations from experienced, qualified contractors to provide the labour, tools, materials, and equipment needed to apply City-provided mulch in designated newly planted natural areas. Work will follow the City’s annual program and be scheduled in advance, in compliance with British Columbia Landscape and Nursery Association Standards and City of Surrey Construction Standards. Mulch is applied manually around plants, and it may be transported from the Surrey Operations Centre by the contractor or delivered to the site by the City. Contractors are responsible for checking the BC Bid and City of Surrey websites for written RFQ addenda.
