Repair and recommissioning of a Winco PSS30F4-03 standby generator

The USDA Forest Service needs repair and recommissioning work on a 30 kW standby generator at Ti-Bar Fire Station. - Government buyer: U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service; Six Rivers National Forest, Orleans Ranger District. - OEM: Winco — manufacturer of the existing PSS30F4-03 generator. No repair contractor or reseller is named. - Requested equipment: One existing Winco PSS30F4-03, 30 kW liquid-propane standby generator. It is being serviced, not replaced. - Service line items: - CLIN 0001 — Remove, transport, return, reinstall, and reconnect the generator; quantity 1 lump sum. - CLIN 0002 — Diagnose and repair the generator; quantity 1 lump sum. - Notable requirements: Diagnose the generator and provide the root cause, proposed repairs, parts, cost, and schedule. Do not begin repairs until the Forest Service provides written authorization. Use OEM-quality parts; OEM parts are preferred, and approved equivalent parts may be used. Perform functional and load-bank testing, verify Automatic Transfer Switch transfer and retransfer operation, and provide repair, testing, commissioning, and warranty documentation. - Warranty and performance: Provide at least a 12-month parts-and-labor warranty beginning upon final acceptance. The work period will be established at award, and work may begin only after a Notice to Proceed.
