The Department of the Air Force is seeking repair of one Government-owned Altec AA600L pole service truck at Travis Air Force Base. - Government buyer: Department of the Air Force, 60th Logistics Readiness Squadron (60 LRS), through the 60th Contracting Squadron (60 CONS), Travis Air Force Base. - OEM and vendor: Altec is the truck and boom manufacturer; ALTEC Service Group is identified as the intended source for the repair. No other vendors are named. - Requested work: Repair one Altec AA600L truck by furnishing and installing replacement slide blocks for the compensating link in the boom assembly. The truck has a 45-foot fiberglass-insulated boom; chassis VIN 3HAMKAAN3AL176133 and boom serial number 097-13846319. - Work includes inspection, disassembly and reassembly, removal and reinstallation of hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and associated components as needed, and operational checks and required load and dielectric testing. - Requirements: Use personnel qualified to service Altec high-line and pole/bucket trucks, and restore the boom to its intended design, safe operating condition, and OSHA compliance. Contractor provides labor, materials, tools, equipment, facilities, and transportation.
