Description

This Major Works contract covers removal and replacement of crossing N3-091 in the Columbia Zone of the BCTS Okanagan-Columbia Business Area. The existing 12.2 m steel girder bridge with timber deck panels on lock-block abutments will be replaced with a 15.24 m × 4.88 m all-steel portable bridge on new lock-block abutments, according to the included design drawings. The work supports future timber-sale package preparation and provides access to proposed harvesting and areas beyond the crossing. The estimated contract duration is two months.
