Marine Corps Base Quantico is soliciting one bundled service to clean, transport, inspect, and reinstall curtains and window treatments at the Home of the Commandant. - Government buyer: U.S. Marine Corps; Marine Corps Base Quantico (MCBQ) supporting Marine Barracks Washington (MBW), under Marine Corps Installations National Capital Region (MCINCR). Government point of contact: Gabriel Mendez. - OEMs and vendors: No manufacturers, OEMs, or service vendors are named. - Service requested: CLIN 0001, quantity 1 each, for pickup, inventory and condition verification, protective transport, specialty cleaning, delivery, inspection, and reinstallation of Government-owned curtains and window treatments. - Materials include linen, silk, cotton, synthetic, and other specialty fabrics. The contractor must use suitable cleaning methods and preserve each item's identity and condition. - The final curtain inventory is verified at pickup with the Government point of contact. Associated treatments include draperies and sheers (final quantity determined at pickup), cornices (64 linear feet), swags and cascades (50 linear feet), valances (16 linear feet), two arched cornices (12 feet each), 37 roller shades (6 feet each), 16 large tassel tiebacks, two straight tiebacks with cording, and four covers/runners (5 feet 10 inches each). - Notable requirements: Protect the historic residence and its contents; use existing installation hardware when serviceable; obtain Government coordination and approval before changes or repairs; remove contractor-generated waste; provide available care information; and complete a final inspection after installation. - Set-aside: Total small-business set-aside.
