VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System on-call scrap recycling and disposal services

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking on-call scrap recycling and disposal services for the Northeast Ohio VA Healthcare System, including the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center. - Government buyer: Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System; Network Contracting Office 10 (NCO 10). The work covers the Cleveland VA Medical Center campus and listed offsite facilities and community-based outpatient clinics. - Service requested: Scrap pickup, recycling, and proper disposal. The contractor supplies labor, transportation, equipment, and vehicles, including a minimum 26-foot box truck or equivalent. Scrap may include metals, plastics, wood, ceramics/glass, and unserviceable equipment; prohibited materials are excluded under the solicitation. - Ordering and payment: Five annual ordering periods with as-needed pickups and no guaranteed fixed schedule. Each line is priced per pickup; quantities are estimates and payment is based on actual usage, not to exceed the stated estimate. Description

This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR/RFO) subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation is issued as an RFQ. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2026-01.
