Hays County is seeking a provider for dumpster, compactor, refuse, recycling, and related debris-removal services at county locations. - Buyer: Hays County Purchasing Office. - Opportunity: IFB 2027-B03 for countywide container rental and collection services. - Estimated current service needs: - Administrative Offices: one 8-yard dumpster, collected weekly. - Christus Santa Rosa: one 8-yard dumpster, collected weekly. - Elections & IT: one 4-yard dumpster, collected three times weekly. - Government Center: one 35-yard compactor, serviced as needed. - Health Department: one 4-yard dumpster, collected twice weekly. - Jacobs Well Natural Area: one 8-yard dumpster, collected weekly. - Jail: one 40-yard dumpster, collected monthly, and four 8-yard dumpsters, collected four times weekly. - Juvenile Detention Center: one 8-yard and one 4-yard dumpster, each collected Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. - Precinct 1 Road Department: one 40-yard dumpster, collected monthly. - Precinct 2 Offices: one 8-yard dumpster, collected weekly. - Precinct 3 Offices: one 8-yard dumpster, collected weekly. - Precinct 4 Road Department: one 40-yard dumpster, collected monthly. - Public Safety Building: two 8-yard dumpsters, collected Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. - Road Department: one 40-yard dumpster, collected weekly. - Pricing and service scope: Provide per-haul prices and monthly container-rental prices. Pricing must account for containers, installation and removal, equipment, fuel, labor, transport and disposal or tipping fees, maintenance, cleanup, and related costs. The bid form also requests pricing for additional hauls and available container sizes. - Operating requirements: Scheduled pickups are Monday through Saturday, between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.; Sunday pickups are not required. Container sizes range from 8 to 40+ cubic yards, with sizes and pickup frequency subject to change. - Additional needs: Hays County may add locations and may request additional debris removal following a countywide disaster declaration.
