Michigan Residential Reentry Center and Home Confinement Services

The Bureau of Prisons is seeking qualified providers for residential reentry and home confinement services in Michigan. - Government buyer: U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), Residential Reentry office. - Services requested: - Residential Reentry Center (RRC) services for male and female offenders, with an estimated maximum capacity of 30 in-house beds. - Home Confinement (HC) services for male and female offenders, with an estimated maximum of 15 placements. - Location and coverage: The RRC facility must be in Saginaw, Genesee, Shiawassee, Bay, Midland, Isabella, Clare, Gladwin, Arenac, or Gratiot County, Michigan. Home confinement coverage must extend within 175 miles of the facility and may cross city, county, and state boundaries. - Notable requirements: The provider must address both service areas, and the RRC must be able to accept sex offenders in-house. - OEMs and vendors: No OEMs or vendors are named; no products or part numbers are specified.

This announcement is posted as a Request for Information (RFI) only for an intended upcoming solicitation that will be posted on the SAM.gov website. This RFI is being issued to determine whether or not there are qualified sources that will be able to meet the requirements of this intended upcoming solicitation.  This upcoming solicitation will be for Residential Reentry Center Services with Home Confinement Services to be Located within the Michigan Counties of Saginaw, Genesee, Shiawassee, Bay, Midland, Isabella, Clare, Gladwin, Arenac or Gratiot held under the authority of various United States statutes.  The geographical radius for home confinement services is 175-miles of the facility not limited by city, county or state lines.  

The awardee must be able to provide home confinement services within 175 miles of the facility, including the ability to cross sate lines.
