DLA Maritime – Puget Sound is seeking 80 Curtiss-Wright EST Group Pop-A-Plug kits, with brand-name-or-equal products permitted. - Government buyer: Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), DLA Maritime, Puget Sound Contracting Division (DLA-PME); contracting contact: Karl Lindley. - OEM: Curtiss-Wright EST Group. - Requested product: 80 Pop-A-Plug CPI/Perma Kits, brass, part number V524B; each kit includes 10 plugs and one Universal Go/No-go gauge. Delivery is to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. - Additional attachment line item: Pop-A-Plug CPI/Perma Kit .524-inch Brass, part number 6293-3756, quantity 1; the attachment identifies JMLS/JML. This item is listed separately from the 80-kit solicitation line. - Technical requirements: For tube IDs of 0.525–0.585 inches; maximum operating pressure of 1,000 PsiG and temperature of 400°F; maximum hydrostatic test pressure of 1,500 PsiG at ambient temperature. - Equal products must meet the stated specifications and include manufacturer specifications for technical evaluation. Evaluation considers technical acceptability, price, and past performance. - A current NIST SP 800-171 assessment is required if applicable; commercial off-the-shelf items are exempt, with their status identified to the contracting officer.

To be considered for award, if the contractor (awardee) is required to implement NIST SP 800-171, the contractor (awardee) shall have a current assessment as detailed in DFARS 252.204-7019 (I.E., not more than 3 years old unless a lesser time is specified in the solicitation)

Items deemed to be Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) are exempt from NIST SP 800-171 requirement.  Must identify and provide information to contracting officer on bid during solicitation period
