The City of Rockford is seeking contractors for Phase 11I lead water service line replacement and related abandonment work in designated Rockford census tracts. - Government buyer: City of Rockford Water Division; Finance Department, Central Services Division, Rockford, Illinois. - Scope: Replace public and private lead water services in Census Tracts 21, 22, 24, and 25. Description

The City of Rockford is soliciting bids for the Lead Service Line Replacement Phase 11I project. Addendum 1 says revised bid documents replace earlier versions and adds a new pay item, “Lead Service Line Abandonment.” A mandatory pre-bid meeting was held on October 6, 2026, and the addendum or a reference to it must be included with the bid. The bid closing date is November 2, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
