Ocean County equipment repair, parts discounts, inspections, and diesel emissions testing

Ocean County is seeking diesel emissions testing, equipment inspections, repair and maintenance labor, and discounted parts for county departments. - Government buyer: County of Ocean, including Buildings and Grounds, Juvenile Services, Parks, Roads, and Vehicle Services. - Requested services: Annual diesel emissions inspections for trucks over 18,000 pounds, offered at a qualifying shop and at County locations; hourly OSHA hoist and crane inspections; and repair and maintenance labor for County equipment. - Shop inspections must be conducted at a shop in Monmouth or Ocean County, with capacity for 2–5 trucks per day. County-location service must accommodate 10–25 trucks per scheduled day and 1–2 inspection days per month. Inspection prices include stickers for passing vehicles, and providers must hold the applicable New Jersey license. - Repairs must be performed where the vehicle is stationed or at a service center in Ocean County. Repair requests must be answered within 24 hours. Labor prices include travel and are prorated in 15-minute increments after the first full hour; quotes must itemize labor, hours, materials, manufacturer suggested retail price, and discount. - Parts: The County requests discounted parts for the listed equipment, using an assumed parts spend of $150,000 over the contract term. Parts must be delivered to the County location specified on the purchase order.
