MDAD Small-Business Outreach Meeting and INFORMS Procurement Training

Miami-Dade Aviation Department is hosting an in-person small-business outreach and INFORMS procurement training session in Miami. - Event: MDAD Small Business Engagement Division outreach meeting and procurement-system demonstration. - When: November 6, 2026, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Eastern. - Where: Building 5A, second floor, 4200 NW 36 Street, Miami, Florida. - What attendees can learn: How to use the County’s INFORMS procurement system and related websites to find business opportunities and access solicitation documents. - Who it is for: Small businesses, including Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Small Business Enterprise (SBE) firms. - Additional topics: Upcoming County projects and business resources. Description

This in-person meeting is intended to inform small businesses about upcoming projects within the Miami-Dade Aviation Department and other Miami-Dade County departments that use DBE and SBE firms. MDAD Procurement will provide live INFORMS training, including a walkthrough of the County procurement system and procurement-related websites, and how to find business opportunities and access solicitation documents. Panelists will represent County departments and other local agencies and resources, with time reserved for questions and answers.
