Shasta County Housing Element Update and General Plan Consulting Services

Shasta County is seeking consulting support to update its Housing Element and related General Plan components. - Government buyer: Shasta County, Department of Support Services, Purchasing Division. - OEMs and vendors: No OEMs or consulting firms are named. Description

Shasta County requests proposals for consulting services to prepare its 7th Cycle Housing Element update, the related State-mandated General Plan amendments, and associated rezoning and environmental review. The work includes community engagement, housing needs and resource analysis, preparation of draft and final documents, CEQA review, hearings, and coordination with the California Department of Housing and Community Development. An optional component covers completion of unfinished Safety Element and Disadvantaged Unincorporated Communities-related General Plan updates. Primary Components A and B must be proposed together; the optional component may be proposed separately.
