Bridge traveler design and procurement support for the Bronx-Whitestone and RFK Bridges

MTA is seeking design and procurement-support consulting for traveler replacements at two New York City-area bridges. - Government buyer: MTA Construction & Development (MTA C&D), under MTA - NYC Transit (NYCT); Solicitation Management office. - Services requested: - Task 1 — BW-9K Traveler Replacement at the Bronx-Whitestone Bridge (BWB): Conceptual and preliminary design, Design-Build contract RFP development, and procurement support. - Task 2 — RK-9K New Travelers at the Robert F. Description

MTA Construction & Development is seeking a consultant firm to provide design services for travelers at the Bronx Whitestone and Robert F. Kennedy Bridges. The work includes conceptual and preliminary design, Design-Build Contract RFP development, and procurement support for the BW-9K Traveler Replacement at the BWB. It also includes conceptual and preliminary designs, Design-Build Contract RFP development, and procurement support for new travelers at the East River suspended portion of the RFK Bridge. A pre-proposal conference and site tour are scheduled for November 3 and 4, 2026, respectively.
