NAVSEA is seeking industry review of a draft military specification for bare welding electrodes and rods—not offers to supply them. - Draft specification: MIL-DTL-19933F, “Electrodes and Rods - Welding, Bare, Chromium and Chromium-Nickel Steels.” - Interested parties may request a copy by emailing CommandStandards@navy.mil; include the document number in the email subject line. - The draft is intended to accommodate varied designs and processes and encourage a broad vendor base. - This notice is not a solicitation. It identifies no purchase, quantities, vendors, or delivery requirements.

Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to draft specifications and standards to accommodate a variety of design solutions and processes, and to encourage a broad vendor base.

NAVSEA is preparing draft MIL-DTL-19933F, Electrodes and Rods - Welding, Bare, Chromium and Chromium-Nickel Steels.
