The Alaska Department of Fish and Game is holding a public Cooper Landing Fish and Game Advisory Committee meeting with elections on December 7, 2026. - Event: Public meeting and committee elections; this is not a procurement opportunity, and no products, services, OEMs, or vendors are being sought. - When and where: December 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Cooper Landing Community Hall. Remote participation is available through Zoom and teleconference. - Election seats: Five expiring committee seats and two alternate seats are up for election. - Agenda: Elections, Board of Fisheries Upper Cook Inlet Finfish proposals, and other Fish and Game business. - Voter eligibility: Voters must be voting-age residents of the committee’s service area and participate in person or remotely. Remote voters must contact the regional coordinator in advance to verify residency. Proxy voting is not allowed. - Candidate qualifications: Candidates should have relevant knowledge and experience with local fish and wildlife resources and a reputation consistent with the committee’s responsibilities.

Description

The Cooper Landing Fish and Game Advisory Committee will hold a public meeting and elections on December 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., in person at Cooper Landing Community Hall and remotely via Zoom. Elections will be held for five expiring seats and two alternates. The agenda also includes Board of Fisheries Upper Cook Inlet Finfish proposals and other Fish and Game business as needed. Remote voters must contact the regional coordinator at least 24 hours before the meeting so their residency can be verified.
