Materials may include concrete, powder-coated or thermoplastic-coated steel, recycled plastic, aluminum, and composite materials. - Typical bench dimensions are approximately 5–8 feet long, with a 17–19-inch seat height, 24–30-inch depth, and 30–36-inch overall height. ADA accessibility and applicable safety standards are required. - Plaques may be cast bronze, aluminum, stainless steel, or another County-approved material, and must follow the County-approved inscription format and program policy. - Services: Plaque engraving, delivery, site verification when requested, and turnkey installation. Work includes site preparation, excavation and footings as needed, anchors and hardware, concrete, utility coordination and clearances when excavation is required, protection and restoration of surrounding areas, and debris removal. - Notable requirements: County approval is required for products and models, substitutions, wording, locations, and schedules. Include a minimum one-year warranty, defect correction or replacement during the warranty period, and applicable California prevailing-wage, certified payroll, DIR registration, and apprenticeship compliance.

San Bernardino County is seeking a vendor to establish a master supply and installation agreement for its Memorial Bench Donation Program. The vendor will provide commercial-grade memorial benches and plaques, along with turnkey installation services at County parks, recreation areas, trails, open spaces, and other public facilities throughout San Bernardino County. The County intends to create a catalog of approved bench options and issue purchase orders for work on an as-needed basis; no minimum quantity is guaranteed.
