Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors is requesting proposals from only the firms listed as prospective bidders for engineering consultant services for asphalt concrete pavement and other work on specified sections of Highways 43 and 49. Services include preliminary engineering, detailed design, contract tendering, construction supervision and contract management, post-construction services, and warranty inspections. Submissions must be emailed as two separate PDF files, one for technical qualifications and one for the proposal fee, each under 10 MB. The contract period is November 25, 2026 to August 30, 2031, and selection will be based on best overall value rather than necessarily the lowest cost.
