Fort Knox sale of one load of used ammunition containers

The U.S. Army’s Fort Knox Qualified Recycle Program is offering a single load of used ammunition containers for sale. - Government buyer: U.S. Army, W6CD USAG Fort Knox; Fort Knox Qualified Recycle Program (QRP), Recycle Branch. - Items for sale: approximately 35,000 pounds total, comprising 6,480 empty, used Condition Code (S) ammunition containers: - PA108 SAW cans: 640 containers (8 skids, 80 per skid). - M19A1 7.62 cans: 2,600 containers (13 skids, 200 per skid). - M2A2 .50 CAL cans: 3,240 containers (27 skids, 120 per skid). - Award is based on the best price offered. The winning bidder must provide a 53-foot van trailer and arrange pickup within five working days after notification. - No OEMs, manufacturers, or vendors are identified.

The Fort Knox Qualified Recycle Program is issuing an invitation to bid on the  Sale of Empty Used Condition Code (S) Ammunition Containers . This is a Government Sale. The duration of this solicitation is for 1 load. If interested, please open the attached sales solicitation/agreement, complete and return to the Fort Knox Recycle Center. Ensure the solicitation is filled out completely to include a signature, date, address, telephone number, and initials on each page in the designated fields.
