Fort Knox is offering two used scrap-metal Conex shipping containers for sale through its Qualified Recycle Program. - Government buyer: U.S. Army, W6CD USAG Fort Knox, Fort Knox Qualified Recycle Program (QRP), Recycle Branch. - Items for sale: Two used Condition Code (S) scrap-metal Conex containers, selected by the winning bidder from seven available. - Each is approximately 8 ft wide × 8 ft 6 in high × 40 ft long and weighs approximately 8,220 lb. - Containers have normal wear; some have wall or floor damage, while others have no significant damage. - Bid and pickup requirements: Bids are evaluated on the best price offered, quoted per pound. The buyer provides transportation and must pick up the containers within ten working days after award; the sale is for one load. - OEMs and vendors: No manufacturers, OEMs, or vendors are identified by name.

The Fort Knox Qualified Recycle Program is issuing an invitation to bid on the Sale of Two (2) Used Condition Code (S) Scrap Metal Conex Shipping Containers. This is a Government Sale. The duration of this solicitation is for 1 load. If interested, please open the attached sales solicitation/agreement, complete and return to the Fort Knox Recycle Center. Ensure the solicitation is filled out completely to include a signature, date, address, telephone number, and initials on each page in the designated fields.
