1st Ranger Battalion field-feeding and catering services for training

The U.S. Army’s 1st Ranger Battalion is seeking field-feeding and catering support for a five-day training validation at the Government Training Institute in Barnwell, South Carolina. - Government buyer: U.S. Special Operations Command (HQ USSOCOM); the requirement is for the U.S. Army’s 1st Ranger Battalion (1/75th Ranger Battalion). - OEMs and named vendors: No commercial OEMs, caterers, or vendors are identified in the notice or attachment summaries. - Meal service quantities in the solicitation: - Breakfast: 125 meals (25 per day; CLIN 0001). - Dinner: 125 meals (25 per day; CLIN 0002). - Grab-and-go lunch: 125 meals (25 per day; CLIN 0003). - The PWS does not independently specify meal quantities; the quantities above are from the solicitation schedule. - Service scope: Prepare meals off-site and provide delivery, setup, service, cleanup, supplies, fuel, and equipment power. Provide plates, cups, utensils, napkins, beverages, coffee, and fresh whole fruit. - Notable requirements: Breakfast service is scheduled from 1300–1400, with dinner and grab-and-go lunch service from 1800–1900. Each breakfast, lunch, and dinner must contain at least 800 calories and 30 grams of protein per serving. The contractor must submit an itemized menu for approval and ensure food handlers have valid ServSafe Food Handler certification or equivalent. - Period of performance: Five-day training event; this is event-based catering, not an annual subscription.

Description

This is a non-personal service(s) contract to provide field feeding. The Contractor shall provide Food Catering Services (non-personal services). The contractor is responsible for providing all material, delivery, setup, and cleanup upon completion of the training event. The vendor is responsible for all fuel and equipment power requirements.
