VA Seeks Comments on Lender and Servicer Records Information Collection

Description

The Veterans Benefits Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, is requesting public comment on an extension without change of its approved information collection under 38 CFR 36.4333. VA uses the information to ensure participating lenders and servicers comply with requirements for the Loan Guaranty program and to provide lenders annual feedback through the Lender Scorecard. VA also describes plans to collect certain loan origination information from lenders through an API for loans selected for examination or audit. Comments are due December 28, 2026.
