The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction is seeking heavy-duty aluminum foil for statewide use through its Central Supply Warehouse. - Government buyer: North Carolina Department of Adult Correction (NCDAC); using agency and office: NCDAC Central Supply Warehouse. - OEM / requested product: ALCAN Model 1851SE, or a functional equivalent; part number 1851SE. - Quantity: Estimated 3,600 cases over three years (about 1,200 cases annually), with an estimated initial order of 900 cases. Quantities are not guaranteed. - Product requirements: Each case must contain 18-inch by 500-foot foil, 0.00080-inch gauge, alloy 8111, temper 0, with a minimum net aluminum and product weight of 7 pounds. The foil must have a matte side and a slick-annealed side and be suitable for foodservice use from refrigerated storage to oven temperatures. - Packaging and delivery: Spiral-wound core with specified kraft and chipboard plies; cardboard cutting edge only, no metal. Pallets must use nylon banding, and cases and boxes must identify the product and quantity. Delivery is required within 30 calendar days after receipt of a purchase order, FOB Destination. - Contract term: Three years from final contract execution.
