Miami-Dade Aviation Department is hosting an in-person outreach and procurement-training meeting for small businesses. - Event: MDAD Small Business Engagement Division community outreach meeting. - When: November 6, 2026, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time; one-time event. - Who it is for: Small businesses, including Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Small Business Enterprise (SBE) firms. - What’s planned: MDAD Procurement will provide live training on the County’s INFORMS procurement system and related procurement websites, including how to find opportunities and access solicitation documents, followed by Q&A. - Other topics: Upcoming projects and resources, bonding and financial assistance, DBE/SBE certification, future requests for proposals, and a six-month capital-project forecast. Description

This in-person community outreach meeting is intended to inform small businesses about upcoming projects at the Miami-Dade Aviation Department and other County departments that use DBE and SBE firms. Representatives from County departments and other local agencies will participate. The featured session is live INFORMS training, demonstrating how to find business opportunities and access solicitation documents, followed by time for questions and answers. Advance RSVP is required; the meeting is scheduled for November 6, 2026, at the 5A Building in Miami.
