Janitorial and Custodial Services for the USDA Forest Service Eleven Point Ranger Station

The USDA Forest Service is seeking recurring janitorial and custodial services for its Eleven Point Ranger District office in Missouri. - Government buyer - U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), U.S. Forest Service - Mark Twain National Forest, Eleven Point Ranger District - Eleven Point Ranger Station, 66 Confederate Ridge Road, Doniphan, Missouri - Requested service - Janitorial and custodial services for a two-floor office of approximately 10,000 square feet. - Cleaning is scheduled Tuesdays and Fridays after 4:30 p.m. - Work includes office and common-area cleaning; floor and carpet care; trash collection; restroom cleaning and restocking; break, conference, and kitchen area cleaning; glass and mirror cleaning; drinking fountain disinfection; and periodic trash-container washing and disinfection at least twice annually. - Computer room floors are to be dust-mopped only; buckets and liquid cleaners are not permitted there. Dirty dishes are excluded from kitchen cleaning. - Supplies and performance requirements - The contractor provides labor, equipment, and supplies other than the Government-furnished toilet paper, paper towels, plastic trash bags, and liquid hand soap. - Contractor cleaning products require review by the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR); biobased products are preferred where practicable. - The Government will monitor performance against the work statement and the contractor’s approved quality control plan. Validated complaints may require immediate re-performance. - OEMs and vendors - No OEMs, product manufacturers, or service vendors are named in the opportunity. - Acquisition context - The opportunity is a total small-business set-aside. No specific cleaning products, part numbers, or quantities are requested.

Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 12444527Q0007 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for routine janitorial and custodial services for the Eleven Point Ranger District office on the Mark Twain National Forest.

This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 561720. The small business size standard is $22.0 Million. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.

Statement of Requirement The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service, requires a services contract to provide routine janitorial and custodial services. Performance shall take place at the Eleven Point Ranger Station, 66 Confederate Ridge Road, Doniphan, Missouri 63935. The facility consists of two floors (a main floor and a basement level) combining for a total area of approximately 10,000 square feet.
