Miami-Dade Aviation Department Small-Business Outreach and INFORMS Training

Miami-Dade Aviation Department is hosting an in-person outreach and procurement-system training session for small businesses interested in County opportunities. - Event: Community outreach meeting and INFORMS procurement-system training. - When and where: November 6, 2026, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Eastern, at the 5A Building in Miami. - Topics: Upcoming projects involving Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Small Business Enterprise (SBE) firms; business resources; and a live, step-by-step demonstration of the County’s INFORMS procurement system and related websites for finding opportunities and solicitation documents. - Participants: Representatives from MDAD/Aviation, the Strategic Procurement Department, Transit and Public Works, and other County agencies and resources are expected to participate. A question-and-answer session is planned. - Registration: Advance RSVP is required. - Procurement status: This is an outreach and training event, not a solicitation for products or services. No OEMs, products, quantities, or contract value are identified.

Description

This in-person community meeting will inform small businesses about upcoming projects at the Miami-Dade Aviation Department and other County departments that use DBE and SBE firms. Panelists will include representatives from Aviation, Strategic Procurement, Transit and Public Works, and other local agencies and resources. The featured session is live INFORMS training, demonstrating how to find business opportunities and access solicitation documents, followed by time for questions and answers.
