FEMA Region 4 is seeking labor-hour Level II armed security services for disaster-recovery offices in Florida. - Government buyer: U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Region 4; Office of the Chief Security Officer (OCSO). - Services and staffing: Provide armed Protective Security Officers (PSOs) for the Long Term Recovery Office supporting Region 4 DR4834 FL. - Fort Myers: 3 primary officers and 2 on standby, for a staffing capability of 5, at 12651 Gateway Blvd, Fort Myers, FL. - Lake Mary: 4 primary officers and 2 on standby, for a staffing capability of 6, at 701 International Pkwy, Lake Mary, FL. - Total staffing capability: 11 officers, including standby coverage. - Duties and requirements: Access control, screening, visitor processing, patrols, traffic control, and emergency response. Officers must meet Guard II qualifications and applicable licensing, training, suitability, and firearms requirements. The contractor supplies staffing, weapons, uniforms, equipment, project oversight, and continuity planning. - OEMs and vendors: No product manufacturers, OEMs, or specific vendors are named. This is a services requirement, with no product part numbers. - Other procurement details: The opportunity is identified as an SBA set-aside.
